Marti Pine, LCSW. M.ED
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting teens and young adults through some of life’s most confusing, overwhelming, and defining moments. My background spans school systems, community programs, and clinical settings, but at the core, my approach is always the same: grounded, compassionate, and solution-oriented.
I work with people facing a wide range of challenges—from anxiety, ADHD, and relationship struggles to life transitions and body dysmorphia. Whether you're dealing with high expectations, burnout, social pressure, or simply feeling stuck, I understand how heavy it can all feel.
Maybe this is your first time trying therapy or maybe you're giving it another shot after a not-so-great experience or break. Either way, finding a therapist you genuinely click with is key. I’m trained in evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and REBT, and integrate mindfulness and trauma-informed care into my work. But therapy with me isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience. We’ll figure out what actually works for you! Whether that’s learning concrete coping tools, exploring past patterns, or just having a space where you can be unapologetically yourself, I aim to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and challenged in all the right ways.
If you’re looking for a therapist who’s honest, down-to-earth, sarcastic, and not afraid to call things out (with kindness), I’m here for you.

Reasons someone might seek therapy
-
ADHD & Executive Functioning
ADHD is more than distraction, it’s missed deadlines, overwhelm, and feeling misunderstood. Therapy helps you work with your brain, not against it, using strategies that match how you actually function.
-
Anxiety & Stress
Your brain doesn’t have an off switch and when anxiety kicks in, even small things can feel like too much. I will help you break the worry spiral, feel more in control, and find calm in a loud world.
-
Body Image & Eating Concerns
Your relationship with your body and food shouldn’t be a battleground. I support you in unlearning harmful patterns, building body trust, and creating a healthier, more compassionate self-image.
-
Dating & Friendship Conflicts
Relationships are complicated, even with people we love. If you’re feeling unheard, walking on eggshells, or stuck in the same old patterns, therapy can help you build stronger, healthier connections.
-
Depression & Mood Disorders
Depression can make everything feel distant. Like…your joy, your energy, even yourself. Therapy gives you space to be real about how hard it’s been and support to help you feel connected again.
-
Family Dynamics & Parenting
Family can be your foundation or your hardest challenge. Whether you're working through toxic dynamics, generational patterns, or the stress of parenting, I am here to support growth without guilt.
-
Grief & Loss
Grief doesn’t follow rules or timelines. Whether you’ve lost someone, something, or a version of life you expected, I’ll help you move through the pain with care and without pressure to “move on.”
-
Life Transitions
Change (even good change) can feel overwhelming. Whether you're starting something new or letting go of what was, I’ll help you navigate life transitions with clarity, support, and grounded confidence.
-
Self-Esteem
When your inner critic is louder than your confidence, it’s hard to show up fully. I help you unpack the layers of the messages you’ve seen and heard from family, culture, media, or past experiences and reconnect with who you really are.
-
Substance Use & Addictive Behaviors
Struggling with substance use or addictive patterns doesn’t mean you’re broken, it means something deeper needs care. I meet you where you are, with compassion, not judgment, to help you take the next right step or get you to the right level of care.
-
Trauma & PTSD
Trauma rewires how we see ourselves and the world BUT healing is possible. Whether your trauma is recent or long buried, we create a space that’s safe, steady, and built around your pace.
-
Work, School & Career Stress
Burnout, imposter syndrome, and endless pressure can make work and school feel like survival mode. Therapy gives you space to reset, set boundaries, and reconnect with what actually matters to you.
